The lineage of the Shaolin Monastery falls directly upon the teachers of the system. Every teacher is a live seed of the lineage inherited from the Buddha the one time he raised the flowers and his teaching was understood by the great MahaKasyapa. In the understanding of the beings lies the illumination beyond words and concepts.
This line of teachers can be traced directly through the 33 generations of warrior monks until the patriarch of Buddhism, Damo, and from Damo to Mahakasyapa, Sakyamuni himself.
Shi Sheng He
The venerable master Shi Sheng He is an authentic FASHI (master of the law) and with direct lineage from the founder of Chan Buddhism in China. The venerable master monk Shi Sheng He is one of the 28 monks who trained directly with the 4 great masters of the 31st generation of warrior monks, those who survived the last destruction of the Shaolin monastery. From his ordeal on, this venerable master has always remained inside the monastery and has dedicated his life to his preparation and the diffusion of the Dharma. The master is part of the group of masters responsible for the main room where all the major ceremonies and rites in the monastery are performed. He has decided to take Shi Guo Long as a disciple, who currently resides in Shaolin as well.
Shi Guo Long
He is the first non-oriental to be ordained as a Warrior Monk of the Shaolin Temple. He belongs to the 33rd generation of warrior monks. He is the founder of the society by the wish of the venerable master Shi Sheng He. He dedicates his life to the diffusion of the Dharma and to internal development.
With a deep philosophical preparation, Guo Long has decided to dedicate his existence to the comprehension of truths of life. He has been admitted as a brother to monasteries in the East, he has studied in renowned Taoist monasteries and has excellent relationships with monks in Tibetan monasteries. His preparation includes: deep philosophical studies, practice of martial arts in the centres with the highest martial level in the world, studies of the classical culture in the East, oriental arts and traditional Chinese medicine. He currently is disciple of Warrior Master Shi Sheng He.
Master Guo Long studies Chan in China as well as Tibet He splits his studies between the Shaolin Monastery in the Song Mountain and the Lachen monastery in the Himalayas.
Shi Guo Long is the founder of the Fraternity of the Dragon, with disciples from the Shaolin Monastery who practice of Chan meditation, system of natural enlightenment, as well as true men who by making an example out of their lives, materialise the highest aspirations of human development. This fraternity is open to every human being, but only those who wish to dedicate their life completely to the search of the comprehension of the mind and the truth beyond time, space and conditions are capable of joining.
Mr. Alessandro Ortiz Formolo
He is currently a student in the Shaolin monastery under the tutorship of venerable master Shi Sheng He, co-founder of the society, martial student in the Shaolin Monastery and with ample dominion of Taiji- Qi Gong system as taught in the Beijing Sports University. Mr. Alessandro Ortiz is the director of the Shaolin Daxue Society branch in Monterrey, Mexico. He is also the director of the international Taiji - Qi Gong federation. He is also dedicated to the study and diffusion of Chinese and Tibetan painting, as well as the adequate study of Feng Shui in its purest comprehension.
